The Diocese of Ramnic includes a major architectural complex built in XVII-XIX century, in Byzantine style and Italian-Realism style, being surrounded by very precious historical monuments and representative for Romania. The spiritual renaissance is advantageous completes to a typography (Romanian language) founded in 1705 by the initiative of Antim Ivireanul, the spiritual patron of Ramnic, so the Valcea County turning into a irradiation center of the Christian culture both in our country and in Southeastern Europe.
