Moldavia is a region where the charm of nature and the pastoral lifestyle meet spirituality and the culture of its inhabitants. Moldavia is where the greatest Romanian poet and the first gymnast to achieve the perfect score of 10 were born.
Legend says that Moldavia was born from an European bison hunt which became the symbol of the region. You can admire this rare animal at The Vanatori – Neamt Reservation. Neamt is the main attraction of the region. In Neamt you can explore Ceahlau Massif, representative for Romanian Orthodoxy. At the feet of Ceahlau is one of the largest artificial lake, Izvorul Muntelui on Bistritei Valley. Here you can admire Bicazului Keys.
If you visit Moldavia don’t forget to taste the authentic Romanian white wine here: Grasa de Cotnari and Galbena de Odobesti.
